Cuong Do

Cuong Do, MBA, is a life-sciences executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience. Before BioVie, he was President of Samsung Global Strategy Group and Chief Strategy Officer at Merck, held leadership roles at Lenovo and Tyco Electronics, and spent 17 years as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company. He has founded multiple biotechnology and social-impact organizations.

Joseph M. Palumbo, MD, LFAPA, MACPsych

Dr. Joseph Palumbo leads BioVie’s research, clinical development and medical activities. He brings extensive preclinical, translational and global registrational experience from pharmaceutical development programs and has held senior roles spanning neuroscience, psychiatry and drug development.

Penelope Markham, PhD

Dr. Penelope Markham leads BioVie’s liver-disease and Long COVID programs. She previously led modified-terlipressin development at LAT Pharma and has more than 25 years of experience across cellular immunology, infectious disease, bacteriology, anti-infective discovery and orphan-drug development.
